European integration is not just a matter of officials and politicians in Brussels, is a work that requires the involvement of citizens, as well has being since the founding fathers planted the seed with those emerging Euroatom ECSC.
In these times of crisis, economic and political, that's when you need the involvement of everyone in getting to take decisive steps forward. I know that actions like this blog, are only a tiny speck of dust in the European scaffolding, but only then, extending the value of democratic and ethical principles involved in the construction of a civic space such as the European is like achieve progress as a society.
These initiatives by the European Commission in Spain, no doubt help shape public opinion, not just better informed, but becoming involved in political newspaper in Europe.
Indeed, one of the incentives of this prize is a trip to Brussels in the coming days with the winners to meet and have contact firsthand what happens in the Commission and the European Parliament, without a doubt an opportunity for a Europhile group euroadictos and share a few hours on a passion: Europe.

A beginning is an awakening. It is curious that liking both new technologies and ever since I drove my first computer, a ZX Spectrum 81, my good friend Antonio Bermúdez, back in the early 80s, has cost me both process underway in the blogosphere. This was undoubtedly because today I get a compromise, which is why the delay, to have an updated corner what interests me and I'd like to share on the network.

I had a hard time to decide, but no doubt I'll play all the "sticks" on those issues that I feel like commenting, I have several concerns and in a moment of anxiety as this, surely this is a good channel to exorcise demons of all stripes.

So much so that the day I have chosen for this post is of particular relevance. On a day like today 20 years ago, this fateful April 11 comes every day to the calendar, I lost someone I echo every day more from less, despite the time and distance of such a tragic event, the loss of my father marked a before and after in my life, aware that in the absence of my life would not have been as I have had so far, but rest assured that my becoming since then trade it for anything. With its joys and sorrows.

The title of this blog, no longer a small tribute to a philosopher without whose contribution to global thinking in the twentieth century would not have been as we know it today.
