Honestly, every time I understand even less the way of doing politics in our country. While in Moncloa remain unaware of the virulence of our "crisis of its own" whipped within an overall framework of global economic distress, where everything will change so that nothing changes. (Perhaps someone knows of any judicial process in the OECD against one of the architects of the global crisis - not worth Madoff, head of Turkey's shift -), in opposition, not only have an anti-crisis model but are mired in a long fratricidal war with a band dressed postponed intolerable corruption.

Contra el recorte a la I+D+i española

Against cuts to R & D & I Spanish

I think once more not only deceive us, I mean the international financial authorities, but also that nobody will use this crisis to change the model. And when I say model, I do not mean capitalism (fully perpetuated in the genome of this society), I refer to the structures that sustain it, rather, the question would be to create structures, not to sustain it, but control it. With that at this stage of the "film" I'm content.

But since this struggle seems to me far, and I think that the IMF or the OECD, the powerful lobbyists and think tanks that support the system will recognize your utter failure in the monitoring and observation of it. I will not add anything more about it, I have ideas, but I doubt that will be heard or taken into account. There will be satisfied with Obama, the EU (well Merkel and Sarkozy, to be precise, are the only ones who have a voice on the current rigmarole that has become my long-desired European Union. What exists today do not recognize) and some emerging leader like Lula, occasionally giving a holder (rather than a proposal or course of action).

But what really worries me is my beloved Spain. Do any of the heroes of our country are concerned about Spain? Is it logical that the Government continue disagreeing with the official figures of ALL international agencies? and do not take a clear direction and clear about it (And please do not come with the gibberish that is a problem of not knowing how to sell the benefits of the measures taken. People are not stupid.) I will give a free solution: Of course I support incentive plans Plan-E, but having the race lost in the short term, is not worth making a bet long-term policy? Will our President envision that in addition the votes of the next electoral process is at stake is the historical development of our country:

The solution is a firm commitment to education and of course for the R + D + i.

These must be the two hallmarks of Spain's future. And it's easy to understand. Our production model: brick + Sun and Beach is dead. The first for obvious reasons and the second will remain important but not decisive, it is clear that not be the locomotive of the past. In tourism we have to focus on quality rather than quantity, especially when we bear in mind that increasingly compete for markets with lower prices and a remarkable quality (relative to the price offered) with respect to ours.

And this is the harsh reality. The stark and stubborn reality. I only hope is a bit of politics (in capital letters) and vision (which has long been lost in the national policy - are needed statesmen and not "partisan").

Snip I do not understand the R & D & I Spanish, however you want to justify ridiculous ways (if they are not I+D+i to hire new investigators and projects remain at anchor, that's a cut and nothing else), ah, and it scares me to contemplate defense budgets (those of whom the world rejoices when a cut, but can mean just a cut in R + D + i for really, as I do not know, I come up here, but I promise to investigate this issue.)

Therefore at this stage of the game, which saw markets continue to play by their rules and "playing" with governments, the only chance of countries like ours is to change the strategy of the production model and become a specialist R + D + i applied to the industries of biotechnology, value-added services and tourism. That is our party, and that's what I expect of my elected representatives. But unfortunately in Moncloa not realize (and this pains me enough) and the opposition only has to read the litany of atrocities they generate in their environment and the distress they cause in an attempt to destabilize the government and the feeling that "end times is near."

Will we ever have a proactive Parliament to the real needs of citizens, or continue giving priority to party politics? I fear that the reduction of R + D + i is a victim of this type of short-term vision of politics.

Dear Juanjo, unfortunately share the same analysis as you, but certainly are not going to remove the right to speak and protest, so we feel sick wrong decision. We will continue making noise to get the R + D + i shine above the rest.

    Good afternoon,

I think so, and (though not understand economics too) I think the solution of "a firm commitment to education and of course by the R & D & I" I would add also the production of symbolic goods, including cultural services connected with the islands as well tenems the development of ICT that allow access to culture cheaper for citizenship without causing economic loss. And in this context Creativity and Innovation are the key proposals for the transformation. It would be interesting not stay in the terms, further, create métdodos and measuring results ...

What makes the mouth .. algidol my turn already.

    Greetings!

Dear Gloria, totally agree with what you express in your comment, especially with regard to cultural services connected to the territory, that was one of my challenges when I tried to push an agenda XXI local culture to a few municipalities of Granada in my journey by the Diputación de Granada in the Area of Culture, but I believe that the language, such as innovation was intended, not to mention the intangibility of some of the actions and objectives over an intimidated. That said, we need to push from everyone, so that R & D projects and education are the twin engines of the future of our production system. At least in Andalusia, has increased the chapter on innovation and education, can be a start (that I believe). Thank you very much for following my blog.
    A big hug!
